Grape –  Godello                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       The Godello (“go-day-yo”) grape is a rare white grape found mainly in Galicia that produces highly aromatic & mouth watering wines.                                                       Similar to Chardonnay, the Godello was nearly extinct by the 1970’s but today, it is one of Spain’s premium white grapes.

Teresa’s Notes –

Aged 4 months on lees in French barrels, this is a premium white wine of  ripe golden peaches, exotic fruits & dried apricots.

The pictures on the labels of the Atlantis wine collection are from the film Jason and the Argonauts…this wine is a mermaid !!.

Highly recommended…best served lightly chilled but not icy cold.
