Grape – Monastrell
The Monastrell grape is bold, full bodied and herby and is famed for producing high alcoholic reds. It is found mainly in the Murcia and Valencian regions of Spain and in Southern France (where it is called Mourvèdre)

Tasting Notes – Ripe red berries with hints of dark chocolate and spice.
Best served at a temperature of 15-18ºC.
Pairing – Excellent with red meat, strong, hard cheese, pâtés or pasta with a rich tomato ragu
