Grape – Albariño
Albariño (“alba-reen-yo”) is a white grape from Galicia in the Northwest of Spain. Similar to Sauvignon Blanc, this grape is more about the fruit without the herby notes of Sauvignon. Concentrated citrus, mouth-wateringly zesty, deliciously dry & often with the salty tang that comes from the vineyards being close to the sea.

Tasting Notes – Excellent start for newbies to Albariño. It is crisp, has plenty of apricots, apples & touches of zesty lemon citrus.
Pairing – It’s high acicdity & hints of sea breeze makes a fabulous pairing with ceviche, sushi, & any fish or seafood
