Description
Grape – Verdejo
Say hello to Verdejo (“vurr-de-hoe”) It’s Spain’s signature white grape that put the little region of Rueda in northwest Spain on the Wine Map!. It’s a great alternative to Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio but more full bodied & aromatic with flavours of almonds, zesty lemons & orange peel . It pairs with almost any food, but it’s at it’s best with salty or mature cheeses, oriental & spicy foods.

Another great example of the Spanish Verdejo grape with a hint of Sauvignon Blanc for a mouthwatering tingle
From the Rueda region in the North of Spain, the best area for the Verdejo grape
Tropical fruits (banana, pineapple & passion fruit) are balanced with zesty citrus
Drink it young to get the best from it….don’t keep it for more than 2 years (as if that’s possible!!)
