What a find this red wine is! It is called Primero as it is the first red wine to the market every year in November ( Primero means first in Spanish)
Made from Tempranillo grapes that are called “Tinta de Toro” in the Toro region.
It is made by the “carbonic maceration” method which, without getting too technical, is a process where there are less tannins in the wine which means less hangovers!!
Every year the wine has a different label that is designed by a student from an art colledge. This 2019 label is designed by the artist Josep Millás Chia and is called “Prima Bacus”.
It is delicious & seriously fruity…best served slightly chilled
