Grape –
Say hello to Verdejo (“vurr-de-hoe”) It’s Spain’s signature white grape that put the little region of Rueda in northwest Spain on the Wine Map!. It’s a great alternative to Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio but more full bodied & aromatic with flavours of almonds, zesty lemons & orange peel . It pairs with almost any food, but it’s at it’s best with salty or mature cheeses, oriental & spicy foods.

Tasting Notes -To be called a Verdejo, the wine must be made from at least 85% of the Verdejo grape. Rueda means wheel in Spanish…look out for the Rueda wines …they feature a wheel in their logo!
